40 paper models of ground structures of Lützerath on a scale of 1:20
Commissioned work for the German Architecture Museum (DAM) for the exhibition “Protest/Architecture”

Rokas Wille photographed all newly built ground structures in Lützerath shortly before the eviction in January 2023. These photographs were digitally assembled by him into folding plans and the models were created from them. However, he did not document the tree houses because there was too little time for it. This circumstance draws attention to a special type of protest architecture: the "treehouse without a tree" - because the ground structures are also "delay architecture". The activists can climb onto the roofs during a police operation. There they are at a height where special forces have to be deployed. It is hoped that this will delay the evicti
on.

This work is the expansion of five independently created models of the same motif.
