Institutional commissions
Rokas Wille created animated videos and filmed and edited lectures and interviews for various cultural and academic institutions.
In 2017, Rokas Wille created an animated video work for the Ernst Bloch Center in Ludwigshafen as part of the exhibition “Church, Crown, War: Thomas Müntzer Between Reformation and Revolution.” In 2020, he was responsible for the artistic video “Hope” for the Ludwigshafen City Museum as part of the lockdown project “Luxury in LU.” In 2021, he was commissioned by the Ludwigshafen City Museum to design and produce a six channal installations totaling 40 hours in length for an exhibition of biographical interviews titled “Youth Worlds – Youth Dreams – Talkin’ ’bout My Generation.”
In 2025, he received a commission from the Humboldt Forum Berlin to animate a Mayan painting and an Aztec sculpture for the Ethnological Museum Berlin’s permanent exhibition “Ancient America,” for the media station of the “Pre-Hispanic Music” module.
In 2025, he was commissioned by Karlshochschule International University to film and edit a weekend event.

Youth Worlds – Youth Dreams – Talkin' 'bout my generation

In 2021, Rokas Wille was commissioned by the Stadtmuseum Ludwigshafen am Rhein to create a six-channel video installation with a total runtime of 40 hours.
For this project, Wille edited together biographical interviews with 45 people, filmed by Martin Doersam. The video installation, displayed on six monitors, was exhibited under the title “Youth Worlds – Youth Dreams – Talkin’ 'bout my generation.”
